Feel free to use this as a guide if you aren't sure what color your fox pelt is! Also keep in mind these are names for Ranched fox. Wild fox have a different set of names (besides red, cross, silver cross and silver).
Names come straight from the handbook, and are the official/correct names for the shown color mutants (color shades and markings may vary irl from fox to fox)
I will also be doing charts for Arctic and Blue foxes, as well as the Red Fox/Arctic Fox Hybrids Keep an eye out for those in the near future.
Note: I did not include every single color in the book, as many of them do not have pictures and/or are nearly exact to some of the other colors of the same species.

Hmm, I have an (old- very old!) fur coat, which was listed as and appears to be fox, but I'm not sure what kind. It was listed as "silver fox", but it is nothing like a silver fox! It IS silvery-ish in literal colour, but if I had to describe it, I'd say it was a creamy coloured coat with a sprinkling of black guard hairs. Any idea what this could be?
By far, the most intricate pelt chart I've seen. I've been searching for one that includes the more rare colors, and I'm glad to see the Georgian white on here! I love those.
Looking at this guide, I just realized I've never seen a Georgian White before in my entire life. Is it rare or something? I recognize all the other fox colors.
